A new years eve ceremony. A boat ride through Milford Sound, & an epic helicopter flight to a world famous mountain peak.

Meghan & Chase planned a three-day elopement experience that took us to the most iconic location on The South Island of New Zealand. When weather took a turn for the worst on their elopement day, they turned their three-day elopement experience into four days, creating more time and space to enjoy the things they had planned.

Kind words from Meghan & Chase

“When we met Lauren & Travis virtually and looked at their work, we knew we had found the right artists who would capture our special moments and help us to not take ourselves too seriously, which is vital when you’re getting married on an island with some of the most unpredictable weather, EVER. Throughout 2023, we met frequently to envision what we wanted for our day - to plan, set timelines, make lists and create excursions. They were vital in helping us to execute the day of and the days surrounding our wedding, and to help us pivot when Mother Nature threw a wrench into our plans on our wedding day. When the winds were dangerously high and we couldn’t go in the helicopter we had planned to take us to our ceremony spot, they helped us reconfigure what we would do for our ceremony and pivot the remainder of our time with them in a major way, which helped us to be chill and intentional about the most important thing - still telling each other we would love the other for eternity on 12/31/23. We loved spending time with Lauren and Travis. They’re kind, fun, innovative, flexible, experts in their crafts and we loved that they allowed us to just be ourselves and capture that. They’re also all really good people. Chase and I will forever be grateful for these humans and how they helped us make our dreams come true - and you can’t say that about every photographer.”
