We live for deep and meaningful connections, are suckers for good stories, and are always game for helping others dream big.

And while we’ve worked with over 100 couples and have 30+ years of photography experience between the two of us, most of our clients share that it’s not only the beauty of their photos or the in-depth and collaborative process that stood out about their time with us, but also the friendship we built that allowed for an unparalleled level of trust.

Leading up to the big day, we’ll be by your side helping you handle every detail from locations to packing lists. And during your elopement or wedding experience, we’ll be there to document each and every moment, answer any questions your friends and family have about our experience living in our van, and crack open a cold one with you to celebrate at the end of it all.

Our experience with 100+ couples, and the 6 years we spent living on the road, taught us how to handle just about anything. Your wedding day is an intimate celebration which is why, above all else, making sure you two feel comfortable with us is what’s most important. An essential part of our process is getting to know one another so that by the time the big day rolls around, you’ll feel like you’re celebrating with two old friends. The Love, Lorraine Process

  • Chapter 1 / Become Friends First

    A good experience starts with knowing that we vibe so before anything else, we’ll hop on Zoom to chat. During this call, we’ll ask about how you two met, what you’re envisioning for your wedding day, and answer any questions you might have for us. We want you to leave feeling inspired about moving forward with what you want, even if you decide that we’re not the right fit for you.

  • Chapter 2 / We Propose

    After we both feel like this is the perfect fit, we’ll send over a proposal that includes the details of the package you’re interested in, as well as your contract and invoice. After you’ve signed and paid, we’ll send you a welcome email with a link to your custom client portal, your elopement guide, and your first questionnaire.

  • Chapter 3 / Get Down To It

    Once you’ve submitted your questionnaire, we’ll sift through everything you two have shared so we can piece together an overview of your wedding day. We’ll suggest locations and vendors, and curate a mood board to give you a taste of what your day could look and feel like. You’ll receive all of this, plus a rough timeline and an email to schedule your first planning call.

  • Chapter 4 / Nitty-Gritty Details

    After our call, you’ll pick your top locations and start reaching out to vendors. From there, we’ll share any other information you need, like applying for permits and your marriage license. Three months out from your date, we’ll send over a timeline questionnaire so we can start planning out the ways your day(s) will unfold. On another review call together, we’ll finalize your timeline.

  • Chapter 5 / The Big Day

    In the month before your big day, we’ll send over any last-minute details, including a packing list, and double-check with you to make sure all your locations (and backup locations) are confirmed. On the big day itself, we’ll be by your side, making sure it all goes smoothly and quietly documenting everything so you’ll be able to fall back into the feelings of your wedding day whenever you’d like.

  • Chapter 6 / Photo Delivery

    Within 10 weeks, your entire photo gallery will be delivered to you, although you’ll receive sneak peeks 2-3 days after your wedding or elopement. You’ll get all the information you need for prints, albums, and a discount code for both. And we’ll be here, whenever you’re ready to write another chapter of your legacy.

  • Totally up to you, but we will say that six hours flies by fast. Having a photographer all day allows more space for you two to enjoy your experience and for us to document every chapter of the day as it unfolds. When you’ve spent time putting together your wedding day, you want to make sure that not only do you savor your experience, but you have photos that tell the whole story; including the smallest of moments.

  • Our planning process includes location scouting, building your day-of timeline, vendor recommendations, and any research you want help with. If you’re planning a wedding or elopement that involves setup, design, and coordination, or that has over 25 guests, we highly suggest hiring a wedding planner. If you need any recommendations, let us know so we can give you our favorites!


  • Absolutely. Most of our couples come to us without a specific location in mind and we love getting to help scout out the perfect place. With experience living on the road, we’ve learned the ins and outs of travel logistics, how to discover amazing new locations, and the best places online to learn more about areas that we’ve never been to before. Once our time together begins, we’d love to share all the location insights we have with you.

  • April is a great month to travel to Scotland and visit its towns, historic sites and natural highlights. More so, you'll enjoy good daylight hours and fair weather, ideal conditions for exploring. Bad weather makes for great photos! But also, we plan a backup plan, or two, with you ahead of time in case the weather decides to do its thing. For that reason, we don’t reschedule elopements because of forecasted wind, rain, or snow.

  • Due to our travel schedule which often changes, we typically don’t book weddings or elopements more than 18 months out. However, we recommend booking 4-12 months in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, make sure to reach out as soon as possible. And if you’re wanting to book something last-minute, reach out too because we leave room in our travel schedule for exactly that.

  • While prints and albums aren’t included in our elopement photography packages, you’ll have access to your entire gallery of photos and full rights, so you can print them with whoever you’d like. If you want to print through us or are interested in an album, just let us know!
