Imagine this: You and your partner wake up together at your Airbnb or in your campervan and head out for a soak in a natural hot spring. Afterwards, you enjoy a slow morning together, making breakfast and having coffee all while getting stoked for the adventure ahead. Maybe you write your vows the morning of and get ready together at your Airbnb or outside of your campervan. Once you are ready to go, it’s time to double check your gear and checklists, and make your way to the trailhead. En route, you stop at the local deli to pick up lunch before starting your adventure. You make your way to your ceremony location and seek out the perfect spot where you two will share your vows. After sharing your vows with one another, you seal your marriage with a kiss and celebratory toast. Sounds like an epic day, right? Don’t forget about sunset and a post-adventure campfire with s’mores to celebrate!
Yes, this could actually be your elopement day in one of the most beautiful places in the US, Colorado!
Hi, we’re Lauren & Travis.
Officially known as wedding and elopement photographers serving Colorado and beyond, and unofficially known as travel junkies, proud dog parents, and experts at spontaneity.
That last one’s thanks to having lived on the road for such a long time. Which taught us something that changed the way we approach everything we do with couples like you…
Life isn’t about getting through an epic checklist — it’s about experiences.
The kind of experiences you become so deeply immersed in that the rest of the world falls away, and after years have come and gone, you’ll still be able to remember the way you felt in that moment.
And there’s no rulebook or list that defines what that experience might look like for you two.
It’s not about hiking your butt off to one of the top places to elope or throwing a wedding that’s similar to the ones your friends just had.
iT’S ABOUT YOU — BECAUSE THIS CHAPTER OF YOUR LEGACY IS ONE YOU GET TO WRITE.
We’re here to help pair your desires with the meaningful details that will make your experience look and feel like you, so your wedding day or elopement tells the story of who you are and your love for one another.

What’s Different About Love, Lorraine?
START WITH WHY
Although we’ll ask you and your partner all kinds of questions about what you want, the most important question — and the one we’ll start with — is “Why?” We’ll help you create an experience that means something to you two, and the only way to get there is by figuring out the reason behind what you want to create. Your “why” is the foundation of your wedding, and guides every decision that we will make together.
TRAVEL EXPERTS
From helping you find the perfect location to dealing with last-minute changes, we’ve got it covered. Our experience with 100+ couples, and the 6 years we spent living on the road, taught us how to handle just about anything. From making sure to map out the distance between destinations to developing a knack for discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants for when hunger strikes, we’ve got the know-how to make sure everything goes smoothly.
FRIENDS FIRST
Your wedding day is an intimate celebration which is why, above all else, making sure you two feel comfortable with us is what’s most important. An essential part of our process is getting to know one another so that by the time the big day rolls around, you’ll feel like you’re celebrating with two old friends. Our goal is to make sure you’re so comfortable that you forget about the cameras and can focus on the experience.

Why Colorado is one of the best places to elope
Colorado is one of the top states couples choose for their elopement. Between the mountain vistas, alpine lakes, desert sand dunes, and wildflower fields, there’s never a shortage of amazing views for your adventure elopement. Colorado also offers plenty of experiences you can plan to add a touch of adventure to your elopement day. Along with plenty of landscapes and epic adventures to plan, Colorado is one of the *easiest* places to elope. You can self-solemnize your elopement day, meaning you don’t need an officiant, and you don’t need any witnesses. Want to know the best part? Your dog can “sign” your marriage license (how awesome is that!) Before we share our best kept Colorado locations, we wanted to share a little bit about what Colorado has to offe
Natural Beauty
Colorado has some incredible scenery. From the Rocky Mountain vista views, the red rocks, and the Great Sand Dunes, Colorado offers so many diverse landscapes for you to choose from! Adventure At Every Turn
Colorado is full of adventurous opportunities. Whether you like hiking, biking, skiing or rock climbing, Colorado has it all and so much more! Want to enjoy a picnic beside an alpine lake? No problem! Maybe a local brewery after your ceremony is more your vibe? No shortage of good beer here! Colorado has tons of opportunities for you to build an epic adventure into your elopement.
Self-Solemnization
This is just a very fancy way of saying you can marry yourselves! Yes, you read that right. You won’t need to have an officiant at your wedding, making your ceremony incredibly one of a kind. You can even have your dog act as a witness to your marriage! This is 100% true, and legal. Yay for that!
Best time of year to elope in Colorado
The weather in Colorado can be wildly unpredictable. It’s quite difficult to predict, but you can expect beautiful Colorado sunshine one day and an outright blizzard the next… sometimes these events can happen on the same day! In the wintertime, it is common to experience snow in the mountains and sun in the front range around Boulder & Denver, with the temperature significantly warmer.
Our favorite time for elopements in Colorado is anytime between June and October. As summer begins (late June through August), most trails and roads at elevation have been fully cleared and are easily accessible. The wildflowers are in bloom and alpine lakes are no longer frozen.
The fall (September through October) is a good time of year to beat the heat. Book an off-roading adventure out of one of the many mountain towns and experience Colorado’s remote destinations highlighting the mountains and the fall foliage.
If skiing or snowboarding is more your thing, consider planning your epic winter elopement in a mountain town like Breckenridge or Ouray. Colorado’s famous mountain towns provide access to some of the best winter resorts in the country!
